Global Diversity & Inclusion Council: Carmen Le Grange

Carmen is the Chairperson of PwC South Africa’s Gender Advisory Council. She joined the South African firm in 2001 as a senior manager in Advisory and became a partner in 2006. She is the Human Capital Leader for Advisory and also a member of PwC South Africa’s Governing Board.

Carmen is passionate about the empowerment of women and diversity. She believes that retaining female talent is critical to ensuring our business remains sustainable. “I believe that encouraging diverse teams and recognising the different contributions that both men and women bring to the table is a winning formula. The world we live in today requires leaders to have the emotional intelligence to work with people from all different cultures and backgrounds and so make the most of the potential of all our people. Research shows that women have a skill set that is particularly relevant to operating within a global context.”

“I believe that empowering our female talent will enable PwC to develop the leaders of tomorrow.”
