Many Ulysses participants are high-performing women. The programme is a key part of PwC'scommitment to retaining and developing female talent into positions of leadership, aninitiative which is led globally by the Gender Advisory Council.The two programmes are closely connected: Global CEO Sam DiPiazza also serves on theGlobal Private Sector Leaders Advisory Council for the World Bank Group's Gender Action Plan, which sponsored a 2008 Ulysses project in Tanzania.
