Transportation & Logistics 2030 represents a series of Delphi studies on the future of the industry. The second volume of the T&L2030 series is a multi-faceted analysis of transport infrastructure and its impact on future supply chains. We examine how supply and demand for transport infrastructure will evolve, how transport infrastructure will be financed in the future, its importance for the competitiveness of regions or territories and the development of sustainable transport infrastructure.

Experts from 29 countries in 5 continents took part in a multi-stage RealTime Delphi survey. Over a period of 8 weeks they discussed and assessed 16 theses for probability of occurrence, impact on the T&L industry and desirability.

T&L 2030 employs a methodology known as the Delphi technique. An innovative online version, the RealTime Delphi, was applied in our study with significant advantages for both surveyed experts and the monitoring team.
