IT outsourcers not the top choice for cloud help
Private cloud computing management specialists are considered the best source of insights and strategies about adoption of the new infrastructure approach, now and in the future, according to the 264 respondents to this question in the PwC IT Outsourcing and Cloud Computing Survey. A senior executive at a leading traditional provider of IT outsourcing services acknowledges the threat: "If we don’t have a competitive cloud offering, our customers will take their business to cloud providers.”
Adds another executive,
"We have to make sure our market knows the skills we have in the cloud. We have to demonstrate that we have the knowledge."
