Argentinean waste disposal and treatment plant
Our client, an Argentinean waste disposal and treatment plant, sought to reduce greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions through the extraction, collection and burning of gases generated by anaerobic decomposition of landfill waste. To support this objective, PwC provided guidance on a range of Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project issues including a Project Design Document (PDD), small scale new baseline methodology, a monitoring plan and assistance with registering the project under the Designated National Environmental Authority and the Designated Operational Entity (DOE). As a result of our work, the client secured both national and international CDM project approvals.
