Local authorities and housing associations are entering a more interdependent world on affordable housing provision. Both will be operating with far less public funding. The only way to deliver 150,000 new affordable by 2015 will be through a truly collaborative effort, with a genuine balance of risk and contribution on both sides to maximise opportunities and results.
