Paul Boorman

Paul Boorman is Global Leader - Operations, overseeing PwC' global operational networks. He was previously the Global Tax leader and, prior to that, was the managing partner of the U.K. firm. Paul has served as a U.K. board member and leader of the U.K. firm's tax practice.

Paul joined the U.K. firm in 1974 from the U.K.'s Government Economic Service. After qualifying, he worked in industry, gaining hands-on experience of tax and treasury matters; he rejoined the U.K. firm in 1980 and became a partner in 1984. For many years Paul has been a leading corporate tax adviser for a wide range of client and government issues in the U.K. and overseas. He is also Chairman of the Trustees of TaxAid, a charitable organisation in the U.K. which provides free tax advice to the lower-paid who cannot afford professional representation.

Paul holds a joint honours degree in Economics & Politics from Loughborough University, U.K.
