Ian Dilks

Ian Dilks is Global Leader, Public Policy and Regulation, an appointment he took up on 1 July 2010.

Ian has spent much of his career working with the insurance industry. He was formerly the Global Insurance Leader and also a member of the Global Financial Services Leadership Team, where in addition to his insurance role he coordinated responses to market reporting developments.

His clients have included a range of national and international companies and industry and supervisory bodies. Ian served as the global relationship partner for two of PwC UK’s largest global financial services clients.

Ian is a graduate in Engineering Science and Economics from New College, Oxford. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1977 and has been a partner in the UK firm since 1986. His previous UK firm responsibilities include serving as the UK Financial Services Chairman and IFRS Conversions Leader.
