
Paul Boorman is Global Leader - Operations, overseeing PwC's global operational networks. He was previously the firm's Global Tax leader and, prior to that, was the managing partner of the UK firm. Paul has served as a UK board member and leader of the UK firm's tax practice.
Paul joined the UK firm in 1974 from the UK's Government Economic Service. After qualifying, he worked in industry, gaining hands-on experience of tax and treasury matters; he rejoined the UK firm in 1980 and became a partner in 1984. For many years Paul has been a leading corporate tax adviser for a wide range of client and government issues in the UK and overseas. He is also Chairman of the Trustees of TaxAid, a charitable organisation in the UK which provides free tax advice to the lower-paid who cannot afford professional representation.
Paul holds a joint honours degree in Economics & Politics from Loughborough University, UK.
