PricewaterhouseCoopers’ views on the latest IASB and FASB proposals, December 2007
In May 2007, the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB) published their proposals for the future of insurance reporting for insurance contracts. Then, in August 2007, the US Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB) published their 'agenda proposal' seeking views on the extent of US involvement in the insurance contract project. This publication summarises the PricewaterhouseCoopers formal responses to these two proposals.
