A practical guide to new IFRSs for 2010

February 2010

There has been little change to the body of IFRSs since European listed groups were required to apply the standards in 2005. This has been to allow for a period of 'bedding down'. Now this is over, the International Accounting Standards Board has issued a number of significant changes to take effect in 2010. It has published a number of new standards, interpretations and amendments to existing requirements arising from the 2009 annual improvements project.

This 48-page guide provides a high-level outline of the key requirements of new IFRS standards and interpretations that come into effect in 2010, in question and answer format.
