At PwC, as well as helping financial services organisations deal with the myriad of here and now issues, we also look ahead to what the future may bring so that we can advise on how best to manage for change in a highly competitive environment.

Piecing the jigsaw is a paper focusing on the future of the financial services industry and considers the drivers, risks and opportunities, as well as the impact and responses for existing and potential players in the industry. The study identifies five principal drivers that will affect all financial institutions: Politics, demographics, the economic cycle, regulation and reporting, and technology.
