PwC Global Energy, Utilities & Mining Conference 2012

Each year PwC runs its Global Energy, Utilities & Mining Conference, bringing together over 500 partners and managers from our global practice, representing more than 60 countries. The 2012 conference took place in Dubai under the theme of "New frontiers... Strategies and regions reshaping the future of Energy, Utilities & Mining".

Participants had the opportunity to hear first-hand from top executives and experts from companies and organisations what are the major current and future challenges faced by these sectors.

As part of our involvement and cooperation with the International Energy Agency (IEA), Maria van der Hoeven, Executive Director of the IEA, held the keynote speech and presented the newly published World Energy Outlook 2012.
