Over the past 20 years CEOs have witnessed tremendous upheavals as a result of globalisation and technological change. In our 20th CEO Survey, nearly 1,400 CEOs share their views on the impact of these forces on growth, talent, trust and society. In this short video, PwC’s global chairman Bob Moritz, reflects on how today we’re at an inflection point; for leaders it’s now time to both raise and communicate the role of business in society and the positive impact it can have.
In terms of expectations for the global economic growth, Danish CEOs (32 %) are more optimistic than the global average (29 %), though Danish CEOs are approaching global this year.
Furthermore, the number of Danish CEOs who are confident about their company’s prospect for revenue growth over the next 12 months has increased by 6 percentage points this year, compared to last year (from 86 % to 92 %). And for the first time in two years, we see an increase in the number of those who are “very confident” among the Danish CEOs (2014: 44 % 2015: 33 % 2016: 30 % 2017: 39 %).
