This report – the first ever global supply chain report on carbon emissions and climate change risks – looks at how businesses are responding to the call for action and transparency in managing carbon and climate change in their supply chain.

Over 630 suppliers from 34 Global companies, including Heinz, Vodafone, National Grid and IBM, responded to questions on activities including reduction targets and plans and emissions reporting.

Almost three quarters of respondents disclosed emissions and climate change information for the very first time to CDP.

The report provides insight, guidance and tips into managing carbon and climate change in the supply chain. It also critically shows how companies can help to educate suppliers about climate change and its importance as a business issue, identify which suppliers are engaged on the subject, and help them determine and target hot-spots or key product lines for emissions reduction efforts.
