Effective July 1, 2014, Nora took on the role of Vice Chairwoman, People.
Prior to this role, Nora was elected to be a member of the PwC IL Global Board in April 2013. She served as a Human Capital Leader for PwC's Asia Pacific region and a member of the regional executive leadership team. In addition to Nora’s global and regional roles, she was the Senior Partner for PwC China Shanghai office and China Central Markets Leader. She oversaw PwC China Central Markets and Shanghai operations across all lines of services.
Nora was trained as a tax partner and she has extensive consulting experience in international and PRC taxes, human resources and other business issues. She has advised multinational companies across a broad range of industries in establishing their China investment projects, providing consultation on tax, business, M&A and human resource issues, helping develop business solutions and strategies to address issues such as tax efficient holding structures, China market entry and exit strategies, business expansions/restructuring, cross board transactions, executive/expatriate compensation and profit repatriations.
Nora is a regular speaker at a wide range of business conventions and seminars on various business and leadership related topics.
Nora received her bachelor degree in accounting from the University of San Francisco, Cum Laude in 1988. She was a California Certified Public Accountant.
