Scholarships Programme:
For the past several years, the firm has invested in promising young people through scholarships for post-graduate studies, aiming to direct them towards the best educational path
for their career goals. There are three types of scholarships awarded each year: (a) scholarships to students for full-time studies (b) and scholarships to executives for part-time
studies, and (c) scholarships for studies at the PwC Academy.

Career Advising:
PwC Academy hosts numerous Open Day presentations for the public. These presentations inform students and professionals on market trends as well as the educational needs
that follow the trends.

Student Support:
The firm is Finance Partner for AIESEC Hellas. PwC supports the organisation by an annual sponsorship, several leadership presentations and workshops during AIESEC
conferences and company visits. Moreover, PwC sponsors and mentors teams of students participating in Global Management Challenge, the largest international competition of
Strategy and Management Simulation.

Career Event:
During PwC’s Annual People Forum, the firm hosts a career event, where top students meet with some of the best companies in Greece and worldwide to discuss career potentials.

The Power of 10:
Global Communities Board’s largest initiative is “The Power of 10” programme, marking the 10th anniversary of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ establishment after the merger of Price
Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand in 1998. In a unique joint project with the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), PricewaterhouseCoopers has raised
funds to provide facilities and education on a sustainable basis at camps in Chad for refugee children from Darfur. The total donation made by the firms and staff globally amounts
to $4 million, the largest donation in the history of the UNHCR. Our firm made a donation of more than $24,000, including personal donations by our employees as matched by the
firm.

Environment: “Sowing for the Future”

World Wildlife Fund (WWF) collaboration:
PwC supports the work of WWF for the protection of the environment. In 2008 all Partners, Principals and Directors subscribed to WWF in an effort to show that it is possible to
take action on climate change and drive others to take the same initiative. Moreover, the message is further promoted through the Christmas cards which are provided by WWF with a
“green” wish. Since children are the future, members of WWF prepared environmental educative games for the staff children’s party.

Environmental Summer Camp:
PwC in collaboration with the Greek Scouts, is developing a Children’s Environmental Camp in an area distraught from the disasters of the fires in the summer of 2007. The project
aims to repair the area for the children, as well as provide environmental consciousness through interaction with nature in order to reduce the risk of fires.

Environmental Team:
A voluntary team made up of PwC employees with the aim of protecting and sustaining the environment for future generations. The best place to start is our offices, therefore the
Environmental Team shares small everyday tips for green-office behaviour that can make a big difference. Also, the company is slowly but surely taking small steps towards becoming
“greener”, for example by providing for recycling and the use of technology to reduce paper waste.

Act of Love for the Children:
Every year, through their own initiative, members of staff have the joy of bringing a smile to refugee children's faces in collaboration with the Greek Council for Refugees, by buying them the Christmas presents that they wish for. Furthermore, our employees provide help to unprivileged children plagued by wars and disasters by raising funds or first aid supplies.
