Many startups and social enterprises have the potential to become growing businesses and contributors to the Greek society and the economy. We at PwC are on their side, offering them support through our skills, experience and mentoring.
We support the "egg - enter•grow•go" programme, a Corporate Responsibility initiative by Eurobank designed and implemented in cooperation with Corallia, that aims to boost young innovative entrepreneurship and improve employment opportunities for young people in Greece. Our support consists of pro bono accounting services to the egg startups by our Business Process Outsourcing department.
We share our know-how and experience with the Orange Grove startups by providing them mentoring, professional advice and training. Orange Grove is a flexible co-working space and network community for young entrepreneurs in Greece. It is a renowned initiative of the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Athens, financially supported by Dutch-Greek businesses and grantmaking foundations active in Greece, and a result of broad community support, university affiliations, highly committed mentor networks and dedicated sponsors, donors, contributors and partners.
Entrepreneurship Panorama, 17-19 March 2017
Volunteers from PwC Greece took part in the organisation and panel of a discussion about social startups in Greece and the current opportunities and prospects they have on offer, during the "Entrepreneurship Panorama" at Athens Concert Hall on 17-19/3.
PwC is a great supporter of startups as well as young talent, so we were there throughout the 3-day event, listening to what everyone had to say.
