Firm's Governance

PwC Greece governance structure comprises of an Executive Committee, which is responsible for the strategy execution and operational management of the business and an independent Governance body that is responsible to oversee the Firm’s compliance with the internal policies, procedures and Code of Conduct & Ethics.

 

Executive Committee

Marios Psaltis is the Managing Partner of PwC Greece. Marios holds a BSc. (Hons) degree in Economics and Accounting from Bristol University and is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and of the respective professional bodies in Greece and Cyprus. Marios was previously Head of the Advisory and also an Assurance Partner.

Nicholas Peyiotis is the Partner responsible for our Assurance practice. He is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in the UK and the respective body in Cyprus. Nicholas was previously the Head of Deals and has advised and executed a significant volume of M&A transactions including both acquisitions and divestments in Greece and abroad for Greek and Foreign entities, he also advised major restructuring transactions involving Greek and Foreign Lenders.

Mary Psylla is the Partner responsible for our Tax & Legal practice. Mary holds a degree in Law and is a member of the Athens Bar Association. Mary has deep and extensive experience in tax, specialising in financial services and private equity deals. She has been involved in a large number of M&A transactions in Greece and advised on tax planning and day to day issues with respect to direct and indirect taxation.

Kyriakos Andreou is the Partner responsible for our Advisory Practice. Kyriakos is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in the UK and the Hellenic Institute of Internal Auditors. Kyriakos' expertise is in the areas of Business Process Improvement, Performance Monitoring and Reporting, Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance and Internal Control Assessments.

Andreas Riris is the Human Capital Partner of PwC Greece. He is a UK qualified chartered accountant (FCCA) and holds a Bachelor degree in Business Administration and Marketing (BS Cum Laude). Andreas is also the Financial Services Leader and an Assurance Partner. He has a wide experience in providing transaction support and corporate finance advice in various projects such as local and cross border M&A, valuations and fairness opinions, securitisations and credit reviews. 

 

Governance Body

The Governance Body has an oversight role and comprises of Partners independent of the Executive Committee who are elected by the Partners’ General Meeting.
