We have our market share of key industries such as banking, insurance, investment management, funds and leisure, with an impressive list of clients including subsidiaries of quoted companies.

You will be an intrinsic part of this work and as a member of the assurance team will be providing a valuable service to our clients’ management.

As a trainee accountant in our assurance department you can expect to qualify as a Chartered Certified Accountant within three to fours year, depending on exemptions you receive for your degree. We will support you in your studying by providing study leave and paying for your costs in connection with your studies for all first attempts at the examinations.

Accountancy services

Our accounting department offers a wide range of accounting services from corporate and personal tax advisory and compliance services including payroll outsourcing to insolvency services and client accounting services.

Our aim is to provide our clients who range from multinational companies to smaller local retailers with a first class service by using our unrivalled skills and local knowledge and in the process helping their business grow by allowing them to focus on their core activities.

Although vital on-the-job training is provided as well regular in-house tailored training sessions, the firm strongly encourages professional studies towards relevant qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, CAT and AAT and support is provided by meeting the cost of tuition and examination as well as providing paid study leave.

Abacus (Company secretarial and administration services)

On joining the Abacus practice, you will follow our carefully developed training programme. This includes an introductory course in the various aspects of the work that we undertake, as well as being assigned to an experienced staff member and counsellor who will guide you through your career development and ensure that you progress as swiftly as possible.

We encourage professional studies towards a variety of relevant qualifications including ICSA, ACCA and STEP and will provide study support by meeting the cost of examinations for all first attempts and by providing paid study leave.

The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) is a globally recognised qualification on corporate governance. As the qualifying body for company secretaries and senior administrators, ICSA is a professional qualification covering business, company law, administration, company secretarial practice, management, finance/accounting and corporate governance.
