Who is DipIFR for?

This program is developed for reporting specialists, accountants and auditors who have skills of preparing, analyzing or auditing statutory or IFRS-based financial statements and wish to gain or improve their knowledge of IFRS reporting and become specialists accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Specialists certified under this program will acquire:

  • in-depth understanding of key IFRS principles and rules;
  • knowledge of IFRS requirements for recognition, measurement, presentation and disclosure of financial statement components;
  • skills necessary for preparing financial statements under IFRS, including consolidated financial statements;
  • experience in developing professional judgment on practical application of IFRS.

Eligibility

Professional accountants and auditors, working in practice and industry, who are qualified in accordance with national accounting standards, are eligible to take exam for DipIFR qualification (official documentation is required to prove eligibility).

Practitioners who may not yet be qualified, but who can verify the following, are also eligible:
• A relevant degree plus two years' work experience, or
• Three years' work experience, or
• ACCA Certificate in International Financial Reporting plus two years' work experience.

Structure of the training program

Duration: 8 modularized days + mock exam
Dates: 20-Sep-13, 21-Sep-13, 28-Sep-13 Introduction session
  4-Oct-13, 12-Oct-13 Booster session
  18-Oct-13, 26-Oct-13, 1-Nov-13 Review session
  16-Nov-13 Mock exam

These modules will lead to the DipIFR exam which will be held on 10 December 2013.
The exam is set in English and administered by ACCA.
The deadline for registering for the training program is 18 September 2013.
However, there is early registration discount for those candidates who register before or on 9 August 2013.
The training program will be conducted in Georgian and English languages. Training materials will be in English.

Fee

Fee for the training program per participant (without VAT) is determined based on the following schedule:

  • 900 USD if the participant registers and pays before or on 9-Aug-13;
  • 1,150 USD if the participant registers and pays between 9-Aug-13 and 18-Sep-13.

The fee for the training program covers:

  1. 80 academic hours of in-class instruction;
  2. manuals of PricewaterhouseCoopers;
  3. interim tests;
  4. mock examination (+3 hours to the main course);
  5. instructors’ interactive support throughout the training period.

Please note that the fee for the training program does not cover the cost of registration for the actual DipIFR exam (GBP 195) to be held by ACCA in Tbilisi on 10 December 2013. The candidates should register with ACCA for DipIFR exam independently.

How to register?

In order to register for the training program, you will need to fill out and submit our online registration form at  Online Registration latest by 18 September 2013. However, you are encouraged to register as early as possible in order to take advantage of the early registration discount outlined above.
