Why ACCA DipIFR?

Diploma in International Financial Reporting (DipIFR) is an international qualification in IFRS developed by the leading professional accounting organisation – Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) – which helps to develop knowledge in the area of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). 

Who should study DipIFR?

This program is intended for professionals working in accounting, audit and finance who want to take a qualification exam in International Financial Reporting and broaden their knowledge of the theoretical and practical aspects of IFRS. 

Specialists certified under this program will acquire:

  • in-depth understanding of key IFRS principles and rules;
  • knowledge of IFRS requirements for recognition, measurement, presentation and disclosure of financial statement components;
  • skills necessary for preparing financial statements under IFRS, including consolidated financial statements;
  • experience in developing professional judgment on practical application of IFRS.

Tutors

Eligibility

Professional accountants and auditors, working in practice and industry, who are qualified in accordance with national accounting standards, are eligible to take exam for DipIFR qualification (official documentation is required to prove eligibility).

  • These modules will lead to the DipIFR exam which will be held on 8 June 2018.
  • The exam is set in English and administered by ACCA.
  • The deadline for registering for the exam is 1 May 2018.
  • However, there is early registration discount (1880 GEL +18% VAT) for those candidates who register before or by 2 February 2018.
  • The training program will be conducted in English language.
  • Training materials will be in English.

Fee

Fee for the training program per participant (without VAT) is determined based on the following schedule:

  • Early registration by 26-Febr-16 - 720 USD (without VAT);
  • Standard registration by 18-March-16 - 800 USD (without VAT).

The fee for the training program covers:

  1. 80 academic hours of in-class instruction;
  2. manuals of PricewaterhouseCoopers;
  3. interim tests;
  4. mock examination (+3 hours to the main course);
  5. instructors’ interactive support throughout the training period.

Please note that the fee for the training program does not cover the cost of registration for the actual DipIFR exam (GBP 217) to be held by ACCA in Tbilisi on 10 June 2016. The candidates should register with ACCA for DipIFR exam independently.

90% discount on next training program for returning candidates

If you actually sit June 2015 DipIFR exam and do not pass, we will give you 90% discount to the next DipIFR training session organised by PwC’s  Academy in Georgia subject to the following conditions:

  • You are paying for the training program on your own (e.g. not sponsored by your employer),
  • You have attended at least 80% of the study sessions and have completed all interim tests,
  • You have set and obtained a passing mark (>50%) on the mock exam.
