Who is DipIFR for?

 

This program is developed for reporting specialists, accountants and auditors who have skills of preparing, analyzing or auditing statutory or IFRS-based financial statements and wish to gain or improve their knowledge of IFRS reporting and become specialists accredited by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).

Specialists certified under this program will acquire:

  • in-depth understanding of key IFRS principles and rules;
  • knowledge of IFRS requirements for recognition, measurement, presentation and disclosure of financial statement components;
  • skills necessary for preparing financial statements under IFRS, including consolidated financial statements;
  • experience in developing professional judgement on practical application of IFRS.

Eligibility

 

Professional accountants and auditors, working in practice and industry, who are qualified in accordance with national accounting standards, are eligible to take exam for DipIFR qualification (official documentation is required to prove eligibility).

Practitioners who may not yet be qualified, but who can verify the following, are also eligible:

  • A relevant degree plus two years' work experience, or
  • Three years' work experience, or
  • Completed and passed all ACCA exams, or
  • ACCA Certificate in International Financial Reporting plus two years' work experience.

 

Structure of the training program

 

Duration: 8 modularized days + mock exam
Dates: 15-Mar-12 to 17-Mar-12 Introduction session
  20-Apr-12 to 21-Apr-12 Booster session
  10-May-12 to 12-May-12 Review session
  19-May-12 Mock exam

 

These modules will lead to the DipIFR exam which will be held on 19 June 2012.
The exam is set in English and administered by ACCA.
The deadline for registering for the training program is 15 March 2012.
The training program will be conducted in Georgian and English languages. Training materials are available in English.

Fee

 

Fee for the training program per participant (without VAT) is determined based on the following schedule:

  •    900 USD if the participant registers and pays before or on 25-Jan-12;
  • 1,250 USD if the participant registers and pays between 26-Jan-12 and 25-Feb-12;
  • 1,450 USD if the participant registers and pays between 26-Feb-12 and 15-Mar-12;

The fee for the training program covers:

  • registration fee for the main examination (GBP 167) to be held by ACCA in Tbilisi on 19-Jun-2012;
  • administrative support in registering with ACCA for DipIFR examination.
  • 75 academic hours of in-class instruction;
  • manuals of PricewaterhouseCoopers;
  • interim tests;
  • mock examination (+3 hours to the main course);
  • instructor's interactive support throughout the training period;.

 

How to register?

 

In order to register for the training program, you will need to fill out and return to us standard registration form latest by 15 March 2012. However, you are encouraged to register early in order to be eligible for early registration discount as outlined above.
