David is a Partner in our Corporate Finance practice in Dublin. He has led several teams advising clients across a wide range of business areas including business services, entertainment and media, retail, hospitality and healthcare. David’s client responsibilities focus primarily on advising shareholders on maximising their returns from the sale of their companies and advising businesses on complex acquisitions.
Previous assignments include:
- Lead advisor to the shareholders of Sterile Technologies Group on the sale of their business to Stericycle Inc
- Lead advisor to the shareholders of Leinster Leader Group on the sale of this business to Johnston Press plc
- Lead financial advisor to the shareholders of a healthcare distribution company on the sale of their business to a rapidly growing Irish healthcare company
- Lead advisor to Beverly Smith & Sons Ltd. on the acquisition of Oman Transport
- Adviser to the TV3 management team in relation to their co-investment with Doughty Hanson to acquire TV3
- Lead advisor to Easons on the acquisition of British Bookshops and Stationers plc. a company which owned 50 bookshops in the southeast of England
- Lead advisor to the Insomnia Coffee shop chain on the private placement of shares, acquisition of the Perk coffee chain and the buyout of the founding shareholders
- Lead advisor to the Leinster Leader Group on the acquisition of the Limerick Leader and Tallaght Publishing
- Lead advisor to NTR plc in relation to their acquisition of Celtic Utilities and Materials Recovery Limited
