Recent press reports have indicated that structures used by foreign investors are being scrutinized by the Ministry of Commerce in order to determine whether such structures comply with the requirements of Thai law. Whilst some press reports have suggested that initial findings indicate concerns with particular forms of structure, no final report has yet been issued. PwC continues to monitor developments and will keep its clients informed of the outcome of any investigation and the implications for foreign investors.
