Craig is a Partner in Corporate Finance of the Christchurch office of PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Craig has over twelve years experience with PwC in New Zealand, in addition to having three years experience in Corporate Finance with Coopers & Lybrand, UK (in the Cambridge based Biotechnology / High Technology Group) and Coopers & Lybrand, Europe, working on privatisation assignments, acquisitions, stock exchange listings, valuations, project evaluations and due diligence reviews.
Craig’s Corporate Finance experience in New Zealand includes involvement in a wide range of assignments including merger and acquisition related matters, valuations, financial modelling, debt and equity financing, capital structure reviews, Cost of Capital assessments, and capital expenditure assessments.
Recent transactions that Craig has advised include:
- Advisor to Port Taranaki and Grey District Council in respect of the establishment of a joint venture Company to provide operational port services to an existing port
- Adviser to Sealord on the development of a strategic relationship with another major fishing group in New Zealand and the joint acquisition of fishing assets with an external party
- Adviser to Northern Gateway Alliance in respect to the development of the Alpurt B motorway development ($330m)
- Advisor to AgResearch in relation to acquisition and investment matters
- Advisor to Ngai Tahu Holdings Limited in relation to tourism, seafood, and property related matters
- Craig has also acted as Corporate Finance Advisor to Meridian Energy, Kaikoura District Council, and a number of other South Island corporates in joint venture projects they have been involved in.
