Murray is a Partner in PricewaterhouseCoopers Christchurch office, heading up Business Assurance for the South Island . He also practices in the general commercial advisory arena assisting a number of clients.
Murray has worked in over seventeen countries during the past decade and prior to joining PricewaterhouseCoopers worked for both Mobil Corporation and within the Big Four both in New Zealand and internationally. His roles have predominantly had governance, risk management, internal audit or a transaction focus. He has also spent a period of time as an investor having purchased, set-up and successfully exited businesses in the retail sector in New Zealand . Murray has a particular interest in Energy and Infrastructure given his experience internationally as well as a strong interest in business succession.
Currently Murray assists at the Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology within the New Venture Planning Programme and also provides input on behalf of PricewaterhouseCoopers to the Antarctic Heritage Trust.
