Fiona is a Director in our Corporate Finance practice in Dublin with over 10 years experience of delivering professional services. Her particular areas include lead advisory investment and project appraisal, capital restructuring, funding transactions and valuations. Her client responsibilities involve project management of complex transactions, detailed financial analysis and financial systems evaluation. She has also spent considerable time working in the Irish public sector on various projects. Fiona has a BBS from TCD and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Previous assignments include:

  • Advised eircom on its flotation in 2004 and subsequent sale to Babcock and Brown in 2006. This involved reporting on the financial performance, financial and management reporting systems and internal central systems of each organisation.
  • Advised eircom on the acquisition of Meteor. This involvement included financial modelling, bid strategy advice, due diligence, finance structuring and finance raising.
  • Advised eircom on a major outsourcing initiative and on a number of financial and operational issues including the demerger of eircell Ltd prior to its subsequent disposal to Vodafone plc.
  • Advisor to Bord Gais on their capital investment strategy. This role as project manager involved all recommendations being implemented.
  • Advisor to RTE on their annual licence fee increase.
  • Advisor to Dew Valley Foods to develop their business plans and growth strategies by preparing financial projections, performing market research and implementing the plan.
  • Project managed the design and establishment of management reporting and internal procedures for the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland.
  • Advisor to UCD on an overhead investment plan relating to funding for research programmes.
  • Advisor to VHI concerning the completion of a supply and demand bed study in Ireland.
