Relevant Experience
Carl joined PricewaterhouseCoopers, Port Moresby in February 2004, after several years as a manager in Sydney, Australia. He has extensive experience from working on PNG and Australian tax with PricewaterhouseCoopers from 1996 to the present.
As a Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Taxation Services Group in Port Moresby, Carl is responsible for a large number of corporate clients advising on both in-bound and out-bound investment, corporate income tax, goods and services tax, customs duty, stamp duty and exchange control. Carl’s clients cover a wide range of industries including resources (mining, petroleum and gas), manufacturing, finance, insurance, tourism and services.
Prior to transferring to Port Moresby, Carl gained a great deal of experience working in the firm’s Sydney office providing accounting, taxation and consulting services to clients from small businesses to listed entities in a wide range of industries. Carl was also involved in developing detailed financial models for client’s to use in capital raising and strategic planning and budgeting.
