PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Investigations and Forensic Services team is pleased to present the Global Economic Crime Survey 2005. Based on 3,634 interviews with senior executives in 34 countries, the study provides unparalleled depth of insight into the perceptions, awareness and impact of economic crime on business around the world. In conducting this survey, we collaborated with Professor Bussmann of Martin-Luther-University, Halle-Wittenberg in Germany to further explore two topics: “the effectiveness of fraud risk management systems” and “the profiles of fraud perpetrators.”
The Global Economic Crime Survey 2005 includes data on the Czech Republic as well as other countries within Central & Eastern Europe, including Hungary, Poland, Romania, Russia and Bulgaria.
