The Income Tax regime has seen a number of changes since the Internal Revenue Act, 2000 (Act 592) was introduced. However, in 2007 there were only minor changes with the focus on the reduction of withholding taxes which was meant to reduce the withholding tax rates to ensure they are compatible with the reduced personal and corporate tax rates which occurred over the past periods.
