2007 Global equity incentives survey builds on predecessor surveys by documenting emerging best practices related to the design, accounting, tax planning, global coordination, and process and administration aspects of equity compensation.
Additionally, this year’s survey asks new questions related to corporate controls, financial reporting, corporate tax, valuation, performance and market based metrics, customization of global plans to local markets and demographic groups, and total rewards.
The 2007 survey was conducted during June and July 2007. One hundred fifty-two multinational companies based in 15 countries worldwide participated in the survey, with 64% of participants based in the Americas, 28% based in Europe and Africa, and 8% based in Asia-Pacific.
