Issue 71 : November 2007
Traditional reporting has always focused on the numbers but this is no longer sufficient.
Beginning financial year ending 31 December 2007, listed issuers are to provide a description of their corporate social responsibility activities or practices, including that of their subsidiaries, or if there are none such activities or practices, a statement to that effect.
Investors, analysts and other stakeholders want the whole story behind the company – how it operates; the decisions it makes; the impact such decisions have on the company, its people, the environment, the community.
