Global Equity Incentives Survey - overview
PricewaterhouseCoopers is pleased to announce the opening of its 2007 Global Equity Incentives Survey.

PwC's annual global equity survey covers a wide range of topics related to global equity compliance, design and administration, including: stock option expensing, compensation strategy and design, tax planning and compliance, global coordination, plan administration, and employee communications. The 2007 Survey will build on the insights gained over the last four surveys to help multinational companies as they monitor trends in equity compensation and plot their strategic position within their markets and industries. These results will become a useful tool for all of those impacted by the transformation of equity in the hands of employees: human resources professionals, finance executives, tax professionals, regulators, consultants, and employees.

Benefits of participating
As a participant, your company will receive the results of the 200+ questions contained in the 2007 Survey, including trend data for many key questions, free of charge. Please be sure to fully complete and submit the Survey before 14 July 2007 in order to receive your free 2007 Report.

How does it work?
Because there are so many stakeholders in equity compensation today, many companies will want to assign people from a number of functional or geographic areas to contribute content to the Survey. Examples of internal stakeholders who may have valuable information to contribute to the Survey include stock plan administration, global compensation, employee mobility, corporate and international tax, finance, the office of general counsel and shareholder services, as well as regional HR and compliance. The Survey is web-based and should take 60-90 minutes to complete. The Survey can be completed by one person or, by sharing a single user name and password with the various respondents from your company, it can be completed by a team of employees. You will be able to save your answers and return to the Survey at a later date to complete or change your answers. You will also be able to print a record of your responses to the Survey.

How do I participate?

We will respond to you and set out the steps required in completing the survey. Please coordinate with the various internal stakeholders on issues regarding equity compensation to so that your colleagues in all relevant functional areas provide input on questions related to their area of responsibility.
