Introduction to Vision 2030 – a successor to ERS
With the Economic Recovery Strategy (ERS) ending in December 2007, substantial
work remains to be done for the economic growth to have real impact on the population.
In January 2007 Vision 2030 will take over from the ERS. It aims to make Kenya,
‘a globally competitive and prosperous nation with a high quality of life’
in the next 25 years, hinged on three key pillars.
