This report is an update of the 2004 and 2005 volumes 1 and 2 of
IFRS Issues and Solutions for the Pharmaceutical Industry. The objective of this
new edition is to give greater clarity on various grey areas of definition and interpretation that could have been raised following the implementation of the standards in 2005.
This publication provides an useful understanding the accounting for the transactions you encounter in your business. By encouraging debate of these topics we aim to encourage consistent practices in financial reporting under IFRS. This consistency will be critical to the acceptance and usefulness of pharmaceutical and life sciences entities’ financial statements.
