The conversion to the euro is not only about simple conversion rates and procedures. There is a plethora of operational changes as well as important strategic issues which businesses should consider well in advance of this important event.
The aim of this second edition of our publication is to provide some bachground information regarding the introduction of the euro in Cyprus, the preparations made by Cyprus at a national level and some of the milestones towards the introduction of the euro. There is also information in relation to the legal framework surrounding the introduction of the new currency, such as conversion and rounding rates.
