Following the success of the inaugural Canadian Life Sciences Industry Forecast last year, BIOTECanada and PricewaterhouseCoopers undertook a second survey to better understand challenges facing Canada’s life sciences industry. This year’s forecast reveals the industry still faces significant obstacles pursuing the commercialization of intellectual property, obtaining capital and recruiting industry-savvy people.
This second annual online survey asked corporate stakeholders, academic, government, and life sciences and biotechnology organizations a series of questions to capture their thoughts on issues impacting the industry today and in the future. Their responses uncover key findings on how to improve Canadian competitiveness.
