The Role:
- Plan, direct and/or coordinate external training and development programmes
- Prepare department training budgets, forecast costs in consultation with the head of training unit
- Establish strategy to meet external training targets, including managing day-to-day training administration, delivery of training activities and conduct evaluation of training courses
- Keep abreast with accounting standards and other relevant information
- Draft marketing materials and brochures to promote workshops/courses
- Prepare training materials and ensure that training facilities are in place for effective delivery of workshops/courses
- Assist in identifying and developing training programmes with Technical Trainer(s)
- Assist in the marketing and organising of public workshops
Requirements:
- Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Law, Accounting or other relevant disciplines
- At least 5-6 years’ experience in a professional services environment
- Possesses knowledge on financial reporting
- Competent in marketing, selling and organising training courses to external clients
- Good command of spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Has initiative, determination and able to work independently
- Mature, a team player with a pleasant disposition
