The client, an Indian chemical company, was seeking an international advisor to help it monetise the Certified Emissions Reductions generated as a result of a large-scale industrial abatement project.
Our approach
The project involved working with the client to secure host government approval for the industrial abatement project, production of the various documents required under the Clean Development Mechanism, and securing buyers for the carbon credits.
The outcome
The client will become an active participant in the carbon market.
