New Leader of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Ukraine

Boris Krasnyansky has been appointed the new Country Senior Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Ukraine. This appointment follows the retirement of Gerry Parfitt, who had held this position since 1993.
Boris was born on November 23, 1958 in Kiev, Ukraine. He received degree in economics and information technology from the Kiev Institute of National Economy (diploma with honors in economics and informational technologies) as well as a postgraduate degree in industrial economics.
Boris joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in 1993, when the firm was founded in Ukraine, as a manager with the Management Consulting Services group. From 1995 Boris was in charge of the Ukraine MCS practice and he was admitted to the partnership in 1997. In 2001 Boris was appointed the Head of MCS for Russia and Ukraine, as well as the leader of strategic consulting services for Central and Eastern Europe and CIS. He was also a member of the Global Advisory Board of PwC Consulting.
For the past two and a half years Boris Krasnyansky held the position of Chairman of Executive Board of “IFD Capital”, one of the largest financial groups in Russia, that includes banks, insurance companies, asset management companies and pension funds.
Effective October 1, 2005 Boris has rejoined the PwC partnership and has been appointed Country Senior Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers Ukraine. Boris Krasnyansky’s expertise is in the areas of strategy formulation, corporate centres design and implementation, organisational change and enterprise restructuring.

Boris Krasnyansky is married and has a daughter.
