TORONTO, April 16, 2008 — The ability to understand, manage and communicate a company's environmental, social and governance policies is a crucial aspect of business that can create competitive advantage. However, not managing them well can have a negative impact on a company's financial performance.
In a new national seminar series, normally limited to Financial Executives International (FEI) Canada members only, media are now invited to join in and hear from PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) experts on how companies can create and drive sustainable businesses to help assure long-term value and success. Sustainable companies understand their economic, environmental and social dimensions, and work hard to keep these pillars in balance. During the seminars, PwC sustainability experts will provide insight into what a sustainable business looks like and how to develop long-term corporate sustainability.
