23 June 2003

As from 1 July 2003, PricewaterhouseCoopers' office in Lithuania will be led by a new Territory Senior Partner, Chris Butler. He will replace Cameron G. Greaves who has been the firm's Senior Partner in Lithuania since July 2001 and who will now be based in Riga as Senior Partner of Latvia. Cameron will continue his role as Tax Services Leader for the Baltic States.

Chris is currently the partner responsible for the firm's assurance and advisory services. He will now take responsibility for the whole practice in Lithuania.

He graduated from Oxford University in 1989 and joined PricewaterhouseCoopers in London immediately afterwards. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1993 and shortly thereafter became a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Chris first visited Lithuania in 1994 on a banking project, which aroused his interest in the Baltic region and at his own request he transferred to Riga in 1995, to help with the growth of PricewaterhouseCoopers practice there. In 1997, he moved to Vilnius where he has worked ever since. First he specialised in the financial services sector although now he works with clients across all industries.

In his spare time, Chris plays rugby and football and has helped to set up and actively participates in the activities of the British Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania.

Chris and his wife Jolanta have a son.
