Yeong-Kyun Ahn was appointed the leader of Samil PwC’s Assurance Line of Service on July 1, 2008. Prior to his current role, Mr. Ahn was the leader of an Assurance Unit since July 2000. He served as the firm’s Quality and Risk Management leader from July 2004 to June 2006.
Mr. Ahn is by background a Consumer and Industrial Product industry partner and served as the lead partner for many public companies. He has been actively involved in regulatory and compliance matters. He has served as committee members on various issues with Ministry of Finance and Economy, Financial Supervisory Service, Korea Accounting Institute and Korea Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Mr. Ahn is a member of both the Korea Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and is registered as Certified Fraud Examiner.
Mr. Ahn holds a Phd’s degree in business administration from Kukmin University and a master’s and a bachelor’s degree from Seoul National University.
