PricewaterhouseCoopers Amphitheatre; Europa Building; Intercollege; Nicosia

PricewaterhouseCoopers' Chair in Applied Accounting Research at Intercollege organised its 4th Annual Conference. This year's theme was based on emerging issues in accounting and corporate governance.

The modern models of corporate governance constitute for the businesses a demand for their development in this intense competitive environment. Our aim at PwC together with our Chair in Applied Accounting Research is to contribute to the audit and professional responsibility debate around the world and of course in our own country.

There was no charge for the participants. The event was addressed to practicing accountants and auditors. More than 180 people attended the event. They were granted a certificate of 3 hours for CPD purposes from the Training and Development Unit of Intercollege, which is approved by ACCA as a CPD provider.
