Cyprus: A Prestigious International Financial Centre

PricewaterhouseCoopers Cyprus have carried out a survey to compare the position of Cyprus as a financial centre with a number of competitor locations. From the survey analysis and results therefrom and with their extensive knowledge of the Cypriot business and financial environment, PricewaterhouseCoopers recommend measures for improving the competitiveness of Cyprus as a financial centre.

PricewaterhouseCoopers handed to the Minister of Finance the survey and their recommendations which they introduced at a presentation carried out on 7 February 2006. The event was attended by 200 guests, distinguished members of the government, the political and business world and the media. The Minister of Finance, Mr Michael Sarris, addressed the event.
