Our Client are a recognized leader in the food sector in Europe, exporting over 80% of their output to over 30 countries worldwide. They now wish to appoint a Financial Controller who is responsible to the General Manager of the Company’s French operation on a day to day basis but reports functionally direct to the Group Finance Director of the Client company.
The Financial Controller will take full ownership for Finance, IT and HR. Leading a small team of administrative staff, the Financial Controller is responsible for: the accuracy, availability and efficiency of all site information; recruitment, retention and training of staff ; weekly/monthly Accounts to French reporting standards; budgets; cash flow/credit control; interrogate daily yields in order to maximise operating results and the firms ERP system.
Person Profile:
- Qualified Accountant (to French reporting standards)
- Fluent English/French speaker
- Background in food sector desirable
- Strong business leader with excellent communication skills
