Yang Chao: PwC Global CEO Survey perspectives

A true leader has to "be a good learner and possess an ability to constantly innovate", says Yang Chao, the Chairman of the China Life Insurance Company Limited. What's more, he goes on to say "if there is no innovation, and that means even though the company has made some progress, it is only walking in lockstep with the others. But if there is innovation you can make progress in leaps and bounds."

In this video, Mr. Chao also talks about some of the key factors that have significant impact upon business in China including global risks, leadership and innovation, people and change, regulation, amongst others. Business, says Mr Chao "is not about the big fish eating the small fish; it’s about the quick fish eating the slow fish. So what do we need to become the quick fish?"
