Our client is a charitable Foundation, with a 130-year tradition in the provision of care for people with intellectual disability. The institution was the first in Ireland to offer such support for people with severe disabilities. Services are provided regardless of age, religion, socio economic background and encompass every degree of intellectual disability.
The Foundation is now working to develop a new model of social interaction and inclusion in an integrated community development in West Dublin. Featuring primary schools, adult education and training facilities, as well as residential and retail accommodation; this new development is being built as part of an overall development containing 254 privately owned residential units. The village will offer residents the freedom to live in the community while operating within the support system of the Foundation.
We are seeking a strong Director for this new development who will be integral to the senior management team at the Foundation. The post-holder will manage, develop and ensure the viability and future development of the integrated services provided in line with but not limited to the enterprise and client-focused services already offered by the Foundation. The appointee will contribute proactively to the development and execution of the organisation’s strategy across the spectrum of its activities by managing and developing the multi-disciplinary team while running a high quality, service-user focused operation in line with best practice standards.
