Import Controls
The importation of certain types of goods is controlled. Therefore, you need to consider whether:
- Your goods are subject to any import prohibitions or restrictions.
- You qualify for the licence which may be required before the goods can be imported.
Export Controls
The export of certain goods from the customs territory of the EU is prohibited or restricted under either EU or national law. Additionally, certain goods are considered to be "Dual-Use". That is they have a potential military as well as civilian use. The export of such goods must be carried out in a prescribed manner.
