The Public Services sector in Greece (primarily the state-owned enterprises) undergoes important developments such as major organisational and IT restructuring, privatisations, IPOs, stock exchange listings, rapid cost reductions, etc.
The central government moves towards large scale automation and functional improvements as a back end to the simplification of service delivery and provision of alternative transaction channels to citizens (e.g. one-stop-shops, internet services, etc). Also, central government focuses on the implementation of major financial improvement initiatives like the restructuring of public sector accounting and budgetary principles, the introduction of contemporary financial control and monitoring mechanisms of state-owned enterprises, etc. We have been assisting Ministries, public authorities and state-controlled entities to plan and implement such changes.
